The Education Committee plans and hosts Association-sponsored education, including classes, online opportunities, forums, designation and certification courses, and special speaker events, providing fun, unique ways for REALTORS® to grow professionally.

Free Classes
We Offer FREE Continuing Education
Northern Wasatch Association of REALTORS® provides free continuing Education to it’s members as a benefit of membership.
Education policy:
- Classes are free for active members of the association.*
- Pre-registration of at least 48 hours prior to any class is recommended.
- A minimum of 10 registrants is required; we reserve the right to cancel any class in which the minimum number has not been met 48 hours prior to the class.
*This does not include online, designation or certification courses.
REQUIREMENTS
New Agents
New agents are required to complete the 12 Hour New Agent Course within the first 2 years, this must be completed for the first renewal. This course consists of the following:
- Agency – 2hrs
- Ethics/professionalism – 2hrs
- Forms/contracts – 3hrs
- Proper pricing – 2 hrs
- Federal Laws – 1 hr
- State law – 2 hrs
You will only receive 1 certificate for all 12 hours. All of these classes must be taken at ONE facility.

Ethics Training & Continuing Education Requirements
Code of Ethics Training Requirements
Code of Ethics & Fair Housing Training — Cycle 8 (Due Dec 31, 2027)
All REALTORS® are required by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) to complete:
- 2.5 hours of Code of Ethics
- 2 hours of Fair Housing
- Every 3 years**
Cycle 8 runs January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2027.
Be sure your training is completed by December 31, 2027 to remain compliant.
If you completed the courses through a provider other than the Northern Wasatch Association of REALTORS®, please email your certificate of completion to Info@NWAOR.com or Kelli@NWAOR.com.
**New members are also required to meet this requirement to gain access to Supra.

Real Estate Continuing Education Requirements
All licensees will be required to complete:
- 18 hours of approved CE with a minimum of nine (9) hours of core topic courses during the two-year renewal period.
- Mandatory Residential Course or Mandatory Commercial Course is required every two (2) years for renewal.
